The Fast Guide To Making Perfume: Discontinued!

Dear friends,

For over four years, I've sold my little ebook on the web to this tiny, but cool audience of serious hobbyist perfume makers. Unfortunately, with my family life and other obligations, I just do not have time to support this hobby website. I've resisted this for years, but... I'm a single parent, and I've actually gotten scarily sick -- yes, me, usually healthy as a colt! -- due to being stretched too thin.

I've taken my perfume book and the companion easy bath & body book down -- it's just not fair to sell them and not be available to answer questions.

But it doesn't have to be over...

If anyone would like to take over and sell my ebooks, I would definitely consider selling them to the right person. I think that just about anyone could do a better job than me at making this into a "real" business, not just a hobby that makes money!

Wanted: The right buyer for this site & ebook package!

If you are interested in buying my little website and business -- which actually gets a fair amount of good, targeted traffic -- I am willing to sell to the right buyer. Some quick essentials about this business:

• 2 ebooks: one on making easy bath & body products, one on transitioning from amateur perfumery methods to more professional methods (a gateway, not a textbook.)
• All rights passed on to you -- you can divide, modify, edit, and extend the books as you see fit. Original files are in Adobe Indesign CS format.
• Website is yours as well, to modify, blow up, or improve as you see fit.
• Website gets around 1000 visits / month -- not a lot, but all free. It's highly interested traffic all coming from good referral sources and organic search traffic! (Analytics data available.) Anything you make from the site is pure profit if you do no advertising.
• Automated distribution service set up for CDs.
• You'll continue to get referrals and pimpage from Excellent Living Guide, the parent blog, which I will continue to run as my personal modern home-ec blog.
• This is kind of shocking, but over the last 4 years, I've made $40,000 gross in ebook sales (more in the earlier years before I had my baby, of course. The last 2 years have been more like... $4000 each.) Most of that money went back into the site, and my expensive perfumery habit, but that's just how I chose to spend it. (Natural perfumery is expensive!!).

Though these ebooks have made some money over the last few years, most of my reward is hearing back from my students who have successfully made their own bath and body products or perfume. I have a lot of personal investment in these ebooks, and want to make sure that the right person takes over.
